A recent study, published in a leading British Journal has suggested that organic pollutants known as persistent organic pollutants or POPs may be associated with an increased risk of type-2 diabetes. The study found that individuals with high concentrations of POPs in their blood were at an increased risk of developing type-2 diabetes.
